My mom, Paula Faye graduated with you all. I am so glad that Fran let me know about this website. I enjoyed seeing pictures of the school she attended. Thank you for remembering her on your memorial list. She has 2 beautiful grandchildren and two children who miss her terribly. She was an amazing mom!
Hope to see you all in July. Great job on website.
The committee is doing a wonderful job....much thanks. Looking forward to a great time.
Thank you committee. I know much is involved in getting such a large group together. We will DEFINITELY need name tags in order to recognize each other. Looking forward to the event.
Thanks to all who are making this possible. I\'m looking forward to attending the weekend. Like many of us, I hope that the name tags are in BIG type.Art
How did we get this old?
Unfortunately, I\'ve had a change in plans and will not be able to attend. Hi to all and have fun!Art
Dear classmates of soooooo long ago, I've been living in Reno, Nv. (biggest little city) since 1975--soooooo far away. So I don't get to Chicago often, even though I still have some cousins there. The last time I was there was maybe eight years ago. I'm not sure if I'll make it this year (though I did go to the 30th reunion with my stroke afflicted husband who subsequently died). My very best friend in high school was Faith Pollack who lived near me (not in Rogers Park) and she is now deceased. Anyway, I still have covid concerns and am cautious. But I wish everyone a wonderful time and thank the organizers for continuing to try to keep us together. I'm retired and support women and seniors in our community. I was a big traveller. I have 9 grandchildren from my 3 children--2 doctor daughters and a successful son. So, if I don't see you, have a wonderful time and maybe I'll catch up with you another time. My best, Helaine Schaffner Greenberg
I only attended Senn my last two years as earlier I was at the Chicago Jewish Academy. I also didn't make the 50th reunion, but perhaps I can make the 60th in August. I've been in Los Angeles (at UCLA) since 1995, and before that, at the University if Washington in Seattle from 1980 and earlier at Dartmouth from 1971-80. I did fieldwork in India numerous times, and have been in university administration since the mid-1980s. Chicago is a distant memory as I haven't lived there since 1963! But now as our cohort begins to approach their 8th decade, it is time to say hello once again and extend my very best wishes to all of you fellow classmates. I hope to see some of you in August. Dan
Thanks to all the commitee people that are working hard to make our 50th memorableLooking forward to coming back to Chicago for the reunion.
Had hoped to make the reunion this year, but family obligations and visitors from afar will make it impossible. Been in CA for over 30 years now, but still miss Chicago (particularly the pizza). Great site and good people that I\'d like to see again. Maybe next time...
I would have been in this class had we not moved from Stewart School in 1953. At Stewart I had Mrs Hefferman and Mc Crackin in 4th grade, Mrs Cramer in 3rd, Mrs Rupe in 2nd, Gaspar in 1st and Mrs Cornell in Kg. I still have my 16 inch softball, restiched. Best wishes to the friends I once had.
Looking forward to seeing everybody!
Looking forward to a fun weekend. Thanks to the committee for all your hard work putting this reunion together
Thanks for planning our 50th reunion. I\'ll definitely make the trip up to Chicago for the celebration.
I\'m looking forward to seeing everyone.
How old did you say we are? I wouldn\'t miss it.
Am ready to celebrate 50 years.I applaud the Committee for making this happen and opening the communication channels with this wonderful website. Thanks.
Look forward to coming back to Chicago. Thanks to the committee for making the effort to prepare for this reunion.
Sorry that I will miss the great event but I will be in Israel at the time. Hope that everybody has a good time meeting old friends. If you are in Honolulu in the next few years, contact me.Harvey
Here\'s a real blast from the past. What happened to all the NORMANS & SAXONS. Where are they all today?
Looking forward to seeing y\'all this summer at the reunion. Bravo to the reunion committee for the great job they are doing. I definitely will hire them again for the next reunion. Y\'all are invited to stop and say hello the very next time you pass thru North Carolina.
I love every bit of this website (or whatever it\'s called). As always, the committee has done a really fantastic job. BRAVO!
GREAT JOB on the website! Thanks to the reunion committe for the many, many hours it takes to pull off this event. Looking forward to seeing everyone and to a fun weekend.Iris
Hello to all hope to see you at the reunion.
Good luck on your major undertaking. I\'m sure it will be memorable.
Sounds like a FANTASTIC weekend. Thanks again to the committee.
I missed the 40th and really, really regretted it. I\'m sooooo looking forward to the 50th and seeing everyone again.
It seems as if you are putting together a fun-filled week-end. Thanks for your hard work!
I thoroughly enjoyed our reunion. The committee did a splendid job in every last detail. My sincere gratitude to everyone involved.I do have a suggestion for our next reunion (G-d willing): Sing the Senn song (I don\'t know if this was done because my ride and I left shortly after dinner). Also, now that we\'re in the age of high-tech, include the bio on Dr. Nicholas Senn, available from Google. I found it to be very interesting and I\'m sure others will, too.Thank you all again, for a wonderful evening.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.Sharon
Thanks to those that have put this website together and early.
life is good Mike Goldberg
Life is good. and I hope many of our classmates are mot lazy and saying who needs it. Get up off your butt and enjoy our 50th reunion. Dress up and show us what you got. It will be fun and we will make it fun. Happy holidays Mike Goldberg
The reunion activities were fabulous! I was so happy to see "old" friends again and reminisce. The tour of Senn was a bonus and very nostalgic. I wish to thank every member of the planning committee and those who helped them for a truly wonderful event. Your hard work, even though you say it was fun, really paid off. I can\'t believe that Roberta actually still had my goodies bag from the 40th. I went home with a booty of goodies.......goody,goody.
I wouldn\'t miss it!
Our Senn Class of \'61 Reunion affirmed what has been widely known for half a century: we are so fortunate to have had wonderful classmates! Thanks to a Reunion Committee that worked beyond limits of the law to assure that our weekend together would be a great success.
